A Vilas Scholar and graduate of St. Lawrence University, Merrill Lynch financial advisor Keefe Gorman holds a bachelor of science in economics. In addition to his work with Merrill Lynch, Keefe Gorman has held various positions in his community, including eight years on the board of directors of Foodnet Meals on Wheels of Tompkins County in New York.

The Foodnet Meals on Wheels program aims to eliminate senior hunger and help Tompkins County seniors maintain their independence by delivering nutritious meals directly to their homes. To fulfill its mission, Foodnet relies on a combination of grants, government funding, and the generosity of individual donors. People can support the organization by making a one-time or recurring gift that helps fund meal delivery services, or they can make a tribute gift that honors a loved one.

Foodnet accepts tax-deductible donations of cars, vans or trucks, and invites local businesses to sponsor their food delivery vans. The organization also seeks sponsorship for its annual Mac ‘N Cheese Bowl fundraiser, which unfortunately has been canceled this year due to the pandemic.
